Right home with right support makes happy living

Our housing options are designed to ensure that people with disabilities can find the right kind of accommodation for their specific needs. We provide various accessible and supportive living arrangements, making it easier for individuals to live comfortably and independently, regardless of their circumstances. This approach helps foster inclusivity and enhances quality of life for everyone.

Grandsheffieldcare provides comfortable accommodation for the elderly and disabled, ensuring exceptional care and support. Their dedicated staff creates a safe, nurturing environment, promoting independence and well-being, allowing residents to enjoy a fulfilling and dignified quality of life.

Our Daily Tasks/Shared Living service helps people with disabilities with everyday activities like personal hygiene, cooking, and cleaning. It offers a range of support to aid in daily tasks and living arrangements, aiming to promote independence, community involvement, and social inclusion. By addressing your everyday needs and tasks, the service aims to empower you to lead fulfilling live within a shared living environment.

Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) service provides help or supervision with daily tasks in your home to promote independence while enhancing your skills. It's paid personal support, commonly used in shared living setups. Tasks include personal care assistance and meal preparation. SIL is tailored for individuals needing higher support requiring assistance daily, including overnight aid. It's ideal for people with disabilities needing consistent support to manage daily living, fostering independence within a supportive environment.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is special housing for people with severe disabilities or high needs. It helps them get the support they need. SDA homes are often shared with a few others, but some people can live alone if it suits them. The funding for SDA covers the housing itself. But you still might need to pay rent or other expenses. It doesn’t cover the support services you might need in the home.

If you don't need 24/7 assistance, drop-in support could be a choice. With drop-in services, you can live in Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses or your own home. Carers come to help you at different times of the day. This way, you can get support when you need it, but you don't have someone with you all the time. It gives you more freedom to do things on your own while still getting the help you require.
